The Italian Award for Paleoart is an art competition whose aim is to spread the knowledge of Paleoart, as a representation of prehistoric life through various artistic techniques, offering at the same time a showcase to professional and aspiring paleoartists.
The Italian Award for Paleoart is the first paleoart contest from Italy and is open to authors from all over the world.

The works submitted for the competition create an art exhibition that are displayed on the “Paleofest: Il Festival della Preistoria” an original festival organised by the Paleontological Museum of the Accademia Valdarnese del Poggio, which set place every year in Montevarchi.
